Please join us in raising funds for foster youth in Ventura County! The HOPE4Kids Festival & Run is a community effort sponsored by Living Oaks Community Church, Ventura County Human Services Agency and a variety of community partners. Monies raised by this event will go directly to assist foster youth in paying for, but not limited to, extracurricular activities such as sports equipment, camps, musical instruments, arts, driver's education courses and more!
One of the things we are most excited about is our Adoption and Foster Fair at the Finish Line. We are partnering with the County of Ventura. We will feature mini-biographies of children in need of homes and social workers will be available to answer questions about adoption and foster care. Last year's HOPE4Kids event was the first time this has ever been done in our county. If you are interested in adoption, please stop by the Adoption and Foster Fair Tent and learn more!
There are many ways that you can support this cause. You can participate in our 5K or 10K Run/Walk as an individual or as a team. Children ages 0-13 can participate in our 1 mile Fun Run. You could also become a corporate sponsor or sponsor an individual runner. In addition, we will have a silent auction at the Finish Line Fair. Please feel free to preview the items on our Silent Auction Gallery page.
Thank you for supporting the youth in our community!
